The tour is set to depart Australia on June 9/10, 2010 (subject to airline scheduling) arriving in South Africa prior to the Socceroos' first game. There are two options for return dates, depending on which package you choose:

The Ultimate World Cup Experience - AUD$9,495.00 per person** plus Airport/Airline Taxes

Includes return international economy flights, accommodation and transfers and ticketing to the Australia's three (3) FIFA World Cup group stage matches plus four (4) OTHER FIFA World Cup group stage matches - that's ticketing for 7 matches in total over 15 nights in South Africa. Tour departs South Africa June 26, arriving back in Australia June 27.

The Ultimate World Cup Experience PLUS - AUD$9,995.00 per person** plus Airport/Airline Taxes

Includes return international economy flights, accommodation and transfers and ticketing to Australia's three (3) FIFA World Cup group stage matches - and four (4) OTHER FIFA World Cup group stage matches, PLUS Australia's' Round of 16 match (substituted with an alternate Round of 16 match if Australia do not qualify) - that's ticketing for 8 matches over a total of 19 nights in South Africa. Tour departs South Africa June 30, arriving in Australia July 1.

The GGArmy has consulted with FIFA's accredited fortune teller who has confirmed that Australia will finish 2nd in Group D and England will finish top of Group C. This will ensure that England is eliminated by Australia in the Round of 16. The Ultimate World Cup Experience (no tickets) - AUD$9,995.00 per person ** plus Airport/Airline Taxes

2010 FIFA World Cup™ ticketing protocols indicate that soon after the competition draw in Cape Town on 4th December an allocation of match tickets to Australia's 2010 FIFA World Cup™ group matches will be made available via the internet in conjunction with Football Federation Australia (FFA) which is confirmed here on the FFA website.

In anticipation of this the GGArmy have retained a limited number of travel packages to accommodate persons who have obtained tickets through one of FIFA's online ticket ballots or those who will be successful in obtaining tickets in the upcoming FIFA/FFA offer via the internet. Includes return international economy flights with Malaysian Airlines departing Australia on June 8, accommodation and transfers to Australia's three (3) FIFA World Cup group stage matches, PLUS transfer to Australia's' Round of 16 match (substituted with an alternate Round of 16 match if Australia do not qualify) - that's premium accommodation and transfers over a total of 22 nights in South Africa. Tour departs South Africa July 1, arriving in Australia July 2.

Round of 16 World Cup Experience Accommodation Package (no tickets) - AUD$740.00 per person

Includes 4 nights accommodation (twin share) June 26, 27, 28 & 29 at the Hotel Nicol and return transfer to Australia's Round of 16 match (substituted with an alternate Round of 16 match if Australia do not qualify).

(**) Accommodation at the Nicol Hotel is primarily in 2-bedroom apartments although there are a limited number of 3-bedroom apartments. Per person costs are based on four (4) people sharing a two-bedroom apartment and six (6) people sharing a 3-bedroom apartment.

The FFA confirmed that the team will be based at Kloofzicht Lodge nestled in the foothills of the Zwartkops mountains in the world heritage listed Cradle of Humankind. As the only tour group based in Johannesburg this allows for GGArmyontour participants to attend open training sessions for free at Ruimsig Stadium which is located a short drive from Johannesburg (our buses are on call exclusively for GGArmyontour requirements).

As Australia has been drawn to play in Durban, a AUD$50 per person surcharge will apply.
Prior to departure you will receive a full list of all other activities with costs on non game days including sightseeing and GGArmy specials. You may elect to take any, all or none of these.
Airline taxes and charges are an extra cost that will be levied in the final payment instalment.

Other "Non Australian" Match Selection Process:

On Friday 15 January 2010 GGArmy On Tour will email out to all confirmed participants the Other "Non Australian" match preference forms. The preference form will be in the format of an online survey and will need to be completed by 31 January 2010. On 15 February 2010 (subject to FIFA processes) we will notify confirmed participants of the Other "Non Australian" matches we have been allocated. NOTE: All match tickets will be distributed by GGArmy On Tour staff in South Africa. No match tickets will be available prior to the tour departure.]

If you take the The Ultimate World Cup Experience PLUS (see the Tour Details page for more information) and Australia qualifies for the Round of 16 - subject to which day and at what stadium - it may be possible to see one or even two extra Round of 16 matches on the tour. In the Round of 16 our tour buses will be going to Round of 16 games at Soccer City, Ellis Park and Loftus Versfeld. If these games do not conflict with a Socceroos Round of 16 game, GGArmy on Tour will assist you in securing (purchasing*) tickets to these games with transport supplied by the GGArmy at no extra charge. Alternatively, if you take the The Ultimate World Cup Experience PLUS and the Socceroos do not reach the Round of 16 we will provide transfers to the above three Round of 16 games and allocate you a ticket to one of these games and help you purchase tickets* to the other two games (if you want to go).

Tickets to the four (4) OTHER FIFA World Cup group stage matches will be in either Jo'burg, Pretoria or Rustenburg with possible teams including Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, Ivory Coast, Denmark, England, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Korea DPR, Korea Republic, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, USA or Uruguay. Plus dependant on your package selection - there's Round of 16 action too.

The GGArmy Ultimate World Cup Experience is making its home base the Nicol Hotel in fashionable Bedfordview ideally situated 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the Sandton area of Johannesburg in the beating heart of FIFA's World Cup fan activities. Within walking distance of countless bars, restaurants, shops and clubs, the village atmosphere will be enhanced with the locals throwing a Welcome Street Party for the hundreds of Aussies who'll be making Jozi home for the Cup.
