On the back of what was undoubtedly one of the best Test series seen in many years, Australia's battle with the sub continent giants India, will continue where it left off earlier this year. The Indians will be keen to seek revenge for their narrow loss, and there is no better place for them to do it, than in their home country. Correspondingly, this will be the ultimate challenge for the Australians, not only to see if they can repeat the performance of last summer, but to even surpass their previous efforts on the sub continental wickets that the locals are more familiar and comfortable with.

Given the confrontations between the teams, this will be fascinating in the light of the fact that many of the Australian and Indian players were teammates during the phenomena known as the Indian Premier League. Not one of the players on either team is willing to take a back step, nor be intimidated by their opponents, so we can expect the competition to be as fierce as it was. This all makes up for some fascinating cricket between arguably the two best playing nations in the world. There is more at stake here than just the Border-Gavaskar Trophy - there is personal pride and unfinished business here. And of course in the terraces, where the chanting of the crowds is cricket support in its most passionate form, and must be seen and appreciated to understand Test match cricket in the sub-continent. Of course we will be in the luxury of our corporate hospitality suites, as there is no need to endure the heat and sun that the Indian climate can present to us.

Besides the cricket, there is the other attraction of the touring to be considered. As usual we have put together the most imaginative of travel arrangements, including the jewel of South East Asia, the stunning megacity of Hong Kong, and the added option of the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal, with a flight around the mighty Mount Everest. Of special appeal to me is the opportunity to have dinner in the prestigious and exclusive Hong Kong Cricket Club. This in itself will be a highlight.
And of course, the mystical country of India. The beauty and charm of the country will delight and enchant you, as this is a country of extremes. The food, the aroma, the tastes and smells, the sights and contrasts make this a destination that will truly give you unforgettable memories. Famous of all the world's structures is the Taj Mahal, which needs no introduction to anyone, and is usually on most people's must-see list. The Red Fort in Agra, the pink city of Jaipur, famous for their elephant rides, and a tiger safari in the Rajistani National Park of Ranthambore, are all world renown sites in their own rights.

This will be our fourth cricket tour to India, and working with our colleagues at Tourism India, our expertise will make a difference to your travel experiences. I look forward to seeing you on this wonderful tour.
