The Bledisloe Cup is the ultimate symbol of Trans-Tasman rivalry. Donated in 1931 by the Governor-General of New Zealand, Lord Bledisloe, the Cup was first won by Australia in 1934.
The Bledisloe Cup is a best out of three matches competition, in 2009 two of the matches will be played in New Zealand and one match in Sydney.
In 2008 the All Blacks manage to retain the cup winning the series 3 to 1, with the first ever Bledisloe Cup match being played in Hong Kong.
It is guaranteed that the 2009 Bledisloe Cup will bring the Wallabies out in full force in their attempt to win the cup back from the All Blacks who have retained it since 2004. Make sure your there to support the Wallabies in the 2009 Bledisloe Cup as we try to win back the trophy.
