The world’s leading golfers will be at Turnberry in July 2009 to compete for golf’s oldest and most coveted championship - The British Open.
The 138th British Open will be held at the Turnberry Resort, Ayrshire, Scotland. The Turnberry Resort is a challenging links course, that boasts the beauty of Scotland's coastline and, of course, the luxery of one of the world's great resorts.
The Turnberry Resort was awarded the honour of hosting the Open Champions as they have fantastic spectator facilities, course management, accommodatino and local infrastructure being key amongst them.
