| Friday 25th March - COLOMBO Arrive Colombo, meet and greet at the airport and transfer to the Galadari Hotel (or similar). Join the tour participants from the first tour. Rest of the day at leisure. Saturday 26th March - COLOMBO ICC CRICKET WORLD CUP 2011 QUARTER FINAL 4 (14.30) After breakfast proceed to the Premadasa Stadium for the quarter final match. Sunday 27th March - COLOMBO After breakfast we will do a city tour of Colombo. Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar - where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). On completion return to our hotel. Monday 28th March - COLOMBO Today is a free day to further explore Colombo, and indulge in some shopping that Sri Lanka is famous for. Tuesday 29th March - COLOMBO ICC CRICKET WORLD CUP 2011 SEMI FINAL 1 (14.30) After breakfast proceed to the Premadasa Stadium for the semi final match. Overnight: Galadari Hotel (or similar) Wednesday 30th March - COLOMBO / MUMBAI Transfer to Colombo airport to connect with our flight to Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai and transfer to our hotel Trident Nariman Point Hotel (or similar). Thursday 31st March - MUMBAI Half day sightseeing of Mumbai visiting the Gateway of India, Mumbai's principle landmark. Drive past the Afghan Church, Secretariat of Maharashtra Government and along the Marine Drive which is fondly known as the 'Queen's Necklace'. Visit Jain Temple, the Hanging Gardens, the Prince of Wales museum, and drive past Haji Ali Mosque, and stop at the 'Dhobi Ghat' where Mumbai's 'dirties' are scrubbed, bashed, dyed and hung out to dry. Continue to the colourful Crawford market and to the Flora fountain in the large bustling square, in the heart of the city. on completion return to our hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Friday 1st April - MUMBAI Today is a free day for additional sightseeing or a day at leisure. Saturday 2nd April - MUMBAI ICC CRICKET WORLD CUP 2011 FINAL (14.30) Return transfers to Wankhede Stadium for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Final. Sunday 3rd April - MUMBAI Backup day scheduled incase of rain delaying play on the 2nd of April, otherwise day of leisure. Monday 4th April - DEPARTURE DAY Check out of hotel by 12 noon and transfer to Mumbai airport for your onward flights or for the add-on extension. |

| Monday 4th April - MUMBAI / DELHI Arrive Delhi, meet and greet at the airport and transfer to our hotel The Lalit Delhi Hotel (or similar). Rest of the day at leisure. Tuesday 5th April - DELHI Half day sightseeing of New and Old Delhi. In New Delhi drive past the 12th century 230- feet high Qutab Minar, India Gate, the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Parliament House. Later continue to Old Delhi. See the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India. Spend some time in Chandni Chowk to savour the ambience of a crowded oriental bazaar. Wednesday 6th April - DELHI / AGRA Morning departure from Delhi to Agra. En-route visit Sikandra. Akbar's tomb at Sikandra is located in a large walled garden on the road to Delhi. There after proceed to Agra and check into our hotel the Jaypee Palace Hotel (or similar). Thursday 7th April - AGRA Full day Agra city tour - in the morning we'll visit the world famous Taj Mahal followed by the Agra fort and then a visit to the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula. The tomb is known as the 'Baby Taj'. Friday 8th April - AGRA / DELHI Morning departure from Agra by road and on arrival at Delhi airport, your onward flights. |
