| I feel that Australian cricket is on the brink of an exciting new era following a few lean years without the likes of McGrath, Warne and Co, but the new breed of young guns like Patrick Cummins and James Pattinson certainly make the future look fantastic. These guys, along with a few new batsmen trying to establish themselves amongst the stalwarts of Ponting and Hussey will make this tour vital in the lead-up to the 2013 Indian and Ashes tours. However what promises to be exciting cricket is only enhanced by the natural beauty and charm of the Caribbean. The laid-back attitude of the West Indians, the stunning beaches and scenery all contribute to make this possibly the world’s best tourist destination, and the Test match islands of Barbados and Trinidad are arguably two of the best. The atmosphere of a West Indian test match, with the metal drums, the grilled chicken on the barbecue, and the colour and vibrancy add to the experience you will remember for the rest of your life. |

| The schedule is back to back Tests which allows us the opportunity to explore other parts of the region and definitely one of the more interesting ways of getting into the Caribbean is via South and Central America. We’ve put together an itinerary which will thrill the most experienced of travellers to some of the most exotic places in the region. The Peruvian capital of Lima, the Panama Canal (one of the 7 wonders of the modern world), but best of all the lost city and heritage listed Machu Picchu (one of the 7 wonders of the new world). Premium Sport Tours would like you to join us on this, our 6th tour to the Caribbean, a region we know well, and whose local contacts have been built up over a number of years and whose relationships have allowed us to obtain the best properties at very competitive rates, and the land arrangements, tours and transfers are developed by ourselves, in conjunction with operators who know exactly what is required and expected by you on a tour like this. |
On all the tours that I have been associated with, the group has all welded into a close knit team, while at the same time recognizing the need for an individual’s own personal freedom. Many of the friendships which started on these tours, are going to last a lifetime. |
