European Grand Prix
Nurburgring 24 July, 2008
Germany
The new Nurburgring stands in the shadows of the old tortuous Nurburgring, which was once considered to be the most dangerous circuit in Grand Prix competition. It now boasts one of the most modern and efficient facilities in the world. Previously the race was known as the Luxembourg Grand Prix and returns on this year's schedule as the European Grand Prix.
The circuit provides a fast and forgiving venue with wide run off areas and large gravel traps that add to the safety of the driver.
