The Australian Open is one of the principal annual golf tournaments on the PGA Tour of Australasia. The event was first played in 1904 and takes place toward the end of each year. The 2010 Open was played at the Lakes Golf Club, Sydney and was won by Australian Geoff Ogilvy. In 2011 the Australian Open will once again be held at the Lakes Golf Club, Sydney.
