The UEFA Cup is a football competition for European club teams, organised by the Union of European Football Associations. It is the second most important international competetion for European football clubs.
Zenit are the current holders of the UEFA Cup having won the competition for the first time, making them only the second Russian side to win the competition. The 2009 UEFA Cup will be held at the Sükrü Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul on 20th May 2009.
