2019 AFC ASIAN CUP : 5 January - 1 February 2019
On the back of Australia's win in 2015, Australia has again qualified for the AFC Asian Cup to be played in the United Arab Emirates in 2019. It will be the second time UAE has hosted the tournament, last time in 1996 and will be Australia's fourth appearance in the tournament.
Australia has been drawn into Group B and will face Syria, Palestine & Jordan in the group stage. Group B fixture:
Australia vs. Jordan, 6 January
Palestine vs. Australia, 11 January
Australia vs. Syria, 15 January
the knock-out stage will be begin with the round of 16 on 19 January, and will conclude with the final on 1 February in Abu Dhabi.
We have 2 tours on offer in 2019, a group stage tour for the three Australian matches and a tour for two Quarter Finals, both Semi Finals and the Final.
Wednesday 23rd January, 2019
On arrival make your way to our hotel Media Rotana (or similar) where we'll spend the first 5 nights of the tour.
Thursday 24th January, 2019 - QUARTER FINAL 2
Today is the first match of the tour, Quarter Final 2 at Al-Maktoum Stadium in Dubai. If Australia finish top of group B and wins the round of 16 match, this will be Australia's Quarter Final match.
Friday 25th January, 2019 - QUARTER FINAL 4
Today is our 2nd match of the tour, Quarter Final 4 at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain. If Australia finish second in group B and win the round of 16 match, this will be Australia's Quarter Final match.
Saturday 26th January, 2019
After breakfast we'll have a half day city tour of Dubai.
Sunday 27th January, 2019
Day free at leisure.
Monday 28th January, 2019 - SEMI FINAL 1
Today we check out of our Dubai hotel and head to our next match, the first Semi Final in Al Ain. After the match we'll head straight to Abu Dhabi and our hotel Crowne Plaza Yas Island (or similar) where we'll spend the next 5 nights.
Tuesday 29th January, 2019 - SEMI FINAL 2
Our 4th match of the tour is the 2nd Semi Final at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Return stadium transfers are included.
Wednesday 30th January, 2019
After breakfast we have a half day city tour of Abu Dhabi where we'll visit the famous mosque, Yas Island and the marina.
Thursday 31st January, 2019
Day free at leisure.
Friday 1st February, 2019 - FINAL
The big game. Will Australia make it all the way through to the final? We have return stadium transfers included for the final at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Saturday 2nd February, 2019
After breakfast we'll end the tour. Make your own way to the airport for your flight home or onward travel.
