COX PLATE : October, 2024

Gear up for unrivalled racing excitement at the Ladbrokes Cox Plate & Manikato Stakes!  Held since 1922, The Cox Plate is Australia's second richest weight-for-age race held at Melbourne's Moonee Valley Race Club and is a highlight of Melbourne's Spring Racing Carnival.

 

The night before the Cox Plate the Valley lights up for The Manikato Stakes night race. Named after the race horse Manikato, the five time  William Reid Stakes winner, the night race is the perfect way to kick off your trip to the Cox Plate Carnival.
