2022 QATAR FIFA WORLD CUP TOUR

21 November - 2 December 2022

 

On the back of an incredible intercontinental play-off against Peru, Australia has qualified for a fifth straight FIFA World Cup! The Socceroos have been drawn into Group D, along with reigning FIFA World Cup Champions France, Denmark & Tunisia.

Australia vs. Denmark, 30 November

All three Socceroos Group Stage matches will be held at Al Janoub Stadium in Al-Wakrah, about 17km from Doha.

Our 2022 FIFA World Cup Tour

We will be based in Dubai UAE, and will fly in/fly out of Doha for the three Australia Group Stage Matches. Transfers to and from the airport and stadium is included each day. This is a fully escorted tour, with an experienced Premium Sport Tours manager, tour host and local guide.

Match Tickets are not included in the tour cost and must be purchased individually from www.fifa.com/tickets. The final sales phase begins at 7:00pm on Tuesday 5 July and concludes 16 August 2022. During this sales period, tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Tour Itinerary

  • Monday 21st November, 2022
    Arrive in Dubai and transfer to our hotel NH Dubai The Palm (or similar). This evening we'll meet for our welcome drinks and dinner, and preview what is sure to be another incredible FIFA World Cup. Get a good sleep - tomorrow is going to be a big day!
     

  • Tuesday 22nd November, 2022 - France vs. Australia
    A quiet morning before we transfer for our flight to Doha and the first Group Stage Match - France vs. Australia. Pre-match we'll meet for a couple drinks and nibbles to preview the match before our transfer to On arrival in Doha we will transfer to Al Janoub Stadium. Post-match transfer back to Doha Airport for a late flight back to Dubai and transfer to our hotel.
     

  • Wednesday 23rd November, 2022
    After a late return from the first match, we have a full free day at your leisure. There's plenty to do in Dubai, or for football tragics, settle in at the hotel bar and watch as many as four back-to-back FIFA World Cup matches.
     

  • Thursday 24th November, 2022
    After breakfast we'll have a tour of Dubai, including a visit to the famous Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building. The rest of the day is free at your leisure, with another four matches scheduled in the Group Stages.
     

  • Friday 25th November, 2022
    A short drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, the UAE's second largest city. Abu Dhabi is home to the Yas Marina Formula One Circuit, Ferrari World and the Emirates Palace. We'll have a half day tour of Abu Dhabi with the rest of the evening free at your leisure.
     

  • Saturday 26th November, 2022 - Tunisia vs. Australia
    An early morning transfer to the airport for our next Doha Day Trip and the second Group Stage Match - Tunisia vs. Australia. On arrival in Doha we will transfer to Al Janoub Stadium. Post-match transfer back to Doha Airport for our flight back to Dubai.
     

  • Sunday 27th November, 2022
    Day free at your leisure.
    Plenty to see and do in Dubai, or take a trip back to Abu Dhabi for visit to Warner Bros. World, or sit back and enjoy all the resort has to offer.
     

  • Monday 28th November, 2022
    This morning is free at your leisure before our evening Desert Safari tour.
     

  • Tuesday 29th November, 2022
    Day free at your leisure.
    Take a break and enjoy the some World Cup action from the hotel bar, or for something different hit the slopes at Ski Dubai, the indoor snow park at the Dubai Mall of the Emirates.
     

  • Wednesday 30th November, 2022 - Australia vs. Denmark
    Our third Group of Stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and our Socceroos are up against Denmark. After an early lunch we'll once again transfer for our flight to Qatar. On arrival in Doha we will transfer to Al Janoub Stadium. Post-match transfer back to Doha Airport for our flight back to Dubai and transfer to our hotel.
     

  • Thursday 1 December, 2022
    Day free at your leisure.
    Our last full day of the tour. Get some last minute shopping done at the Dubai Mall or enjoy more of the sights our host city has to offer.
     

  • Friday 2 December, 2022
    An early check-out for our transfer to Dubai International Airport for our flights back to Australia or onward travel.

Tour Exclusions

  • Match Tickets. You must purchase your own match tickets from FIFA.

  • International flights and taxes.

  • All items of a personal nature.

  • All meals and drinks unless specified.

  • Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended).

  • Dubai tourism tax of AED 20 per room, per day payable direct at the hotel (approx. AUD 100 for the duration).

  • UAE Visa - Issued on arrival before immigration.

  • Hayya Card - Required for entry to Qatar and Stadiums (similar to the FAN ID in previous World Cups).
