ICC CRICKET WORLD CUP 2019 TOUR : 5 - 15 July, 2019

 

The ICC Cricket World Cup is heading back to England and Wales in 2019 for the 12th ICC Cricket World Cup and fifth hosted in the United Kingdom, after initially hosting the first three ICC Cricket World Cups in 1975, '79 and '83.

 

In 2019 the number of teams dropped from 14 to 10 teams, comprising of the top eight ranked one-day teams, with the final two spots claimed by Afghanistan and West Indies as the top two of the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

 

Below is our escorted tour detailed itinerary, which includes 10 nights accommodation and match tickets to the four games (South Africa vs. Australia, both Semi Finals and the Final.

  • Friday 5th July, 2019
    Make your own way to Manchester and our hotel MacDonalds Manchester Hotel and Spa where we will spend the first five nights.
     

  • Saturday 6th July, 2019 - South Africa vs. Australia
    Today is our first match of the tour and Australia's last group stage game and it's a big one - South Africa at Old Trafford. Included are return transfers from our hotel to Old Trafford.
     

  • Sunday 7th July, 2019
    Half day tour to Liverpool, The Beatles Experience and Anfield Stadium Tour (confirmed).
     

  • Monday 8th July, 2019
    Day free at your leisure.
     

  • Tuesday 9th July, 2019 - Semi-Final 1
    Today we have the second match of our tour, the first Semi-Final at Old Trafford. This will be contested between the top placed team and the fourth placed team after the group stages.     Included are return transfers from our hotel to Old Trafford.
     

  • Wednesday 10th July, 2019
    This morning we'll transfer from Manchester to Birmingham, via Nottingham where we will stop for lunch at Ye Old Jerusalem and a tour of Trent Bridge (confirmed). The next two nights in Birmingham are at the Jurys Inn.
     

  • Thursday 11th July, 2019- Semi-Final 2
    Today we have the second semi-final, contested by second and third placed teams from the group stage. Included are return transfers from our hotel to Edgbaston.
     

  • Friday 12th July, 2019
    This morning we'll coach transfer to London, via Stratford-on-Avon and lunch in a Cotswold's pub (to be confirmed). In London we'll spend the last three nights of the tour at the Holiday Inn London - High Street Kensington. A three day London Travel Card (Zones 1-2) is included.
     

  • Saturday 13th July, 2019
    Day free at your leisure.
     

  • Sunday 14th July, 2019 - Final
    The last match of the tournament at the home of cricket - Lord's. Will Australia still be in the tournament? Or will we see a repeat of the Champions Trophy and another India vs. Pakistan clash? Make your own way to and from the hotel to Lord's with your London Travel Card.
     

  • Monday 15th July, 2019
    Our tour ends today after breakfast and check out of the hotel.
