LIGUE 1 : August 2018 - May 2019

Ligue 1, formerly known as Division 1, is the premier French association football competition in France and the top division of the French football league system. Ligue 1 is one of the top national leagues, currently ranked fifth in Europe behind the Spanish La Liga, English Premier League, the German Bundesliga and the Italian Serie A.

 

Ligue 1 heavyweight Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has dominated the competition in recent years, having won five of the past six Ligue 1 titles. Saint-Étienne currently hold the most titles (10) but have not won since the 1980-81 season.
