New Zealand Cricket Tour 2024

Bookings are now open for our 2024 New Zealand Cricket Tour!​

Australia will be coming off a big summer of Australian cricket, with five test matches played at home before heading over to New Zealand for the 2024 Trans Tasman Trophy. The rivalry between Australia and New Zealand is one we always enjoy
(and usually win!)

Dates for the 2024 Test Tour of New Zealand have been confirmed:​

1st Test, 29 February - 4 March 2024, Wellington

2nd Test, 8 - 12 March 2024, Christchurch


As with all our tours we will get to experience the cricket in prime seating as well as the amazing sights our host country has to offer. Tour spots are now open for bookings, so join me, Ray Bright on our next Premium Cricket Tour to New Zealand!

Full Tour: 2 Test Matches + Nelson

  • Wednesday 28th February 2024
    On arrival into Wellington, make your own way to the DoubleTree by Hilton for the next 6 nights. This evening we’ll have our welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
     

  • Thursday 29th February – Monday 4th March 2024 : First Trans-Tasman Trophy Test Match
    Today’s the start of the Trans-Tasman Trophy Series, with the 1st Test at The Basin Reserve. We’ll have reserved undercover seating for all days of this Test. The ground is in walking distance from the hotel, so we’ll be making our own way to the match.
     

  • Tuesday 5th March 2024
    This morning we’ll transfer to the port for the Interisland Cook Strait sailing from Wellington to Picton. On arrival, we’ll have a wine tour and lunch at a local winery, then transfer to our accommodation, the Tides Hotel in Nelson for the next 2 nights.
     

  • Wednesday 6th March 2024
    Today we’ll have a morning cruise around the bays and islands of the Abel Tasman National Park, with a picnic lunch included.
     

  • Thursday 7th March 2024
    We’ll transfer from Nelson to Christchurch and the Fable Hotel for the next 6 nights. This evening we’ll have dinner included at a local restaurant.
     

  • Friday 8th – Tuesday 12th March 2024 : Second Trans-Tasman Trophy Test Match
    Today’s the start of the the 2nd Test at Hagley Oval. We’ll have Reserved Grandstand Seating for the first 4 days of this Test. The ground is in walking distance from the hotel, so we’ll be making our own way to the match.
     

  • Wednesday 13th March 2024
    The tour concludes after breakfast. Please make your own arrangements or join us on the Post-Tour Option.

Pre-Tour Add-On: Auckland + Rotorua

  • Saturday 24th February 2024
    On arrival into Auckland, make your own way to the Grand Millennium Hotel for the next 2 nights. An informal drink at the bar is a good way to start the tour.
     

  • Sunday 25th February 2024
    After breakfast, we’ll take a half day sightseeing tour of Auckland, before proceeding to Eden Park for the 3rd T20 match against the Blackcaps.
     

  • Monday 26th February 2024
    This morning we’ll transfer by coach to the resort destination of Rotorua and our accommodation, The Sudima Hotel for the next 2 nights and a visit to Te Puia for a guided tour, including a cultural show and traditional Hangi dinner.
     

  • Tuesday 27th February 2024
    Today a tour of the world famous Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland geothermal areas, bubbling mud baths and geysers.
     

  • Wednesday 28th February 2024
    This morning we’ll transfer to Wellington and meet the other participants joining our tour.

Post-Tour Add-On: Queenstown

  • Wednesday 13th March 2024
    Transfer to the station for our spectacular train trip on the Tranz Alpine railway to Arthurs Pass. On arrival there we’ll take the coach to the resort destination of Franz Josef.
     

  • Thursday 14th March 2024
    This morning we’ll take a helicopter flight over the spectacular Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers, a truly remarkable experience. At its conclusion we’ll continue onward to Queenstown and our hotel Millennium for the next 2 nights.
     

  • Friday 15th March 2024
    A day of leisure to undertake your own adventures. The options are plentiful – Shotover Jetboat, Milford Sound tour or flights, Skyline Gondola, or for the brave, the original Bungy jump off the Kawarau Bridge.
     

  • Saturday 16th March 2024
    Today our tour ends and make your way home or your own arrangements for those wishing to extend their holiday.

Tour Cost - Price Per Person

Tour Inclusions

  • First class 4-5 star accommodation in all locations with breakfast included.

  • Match tickets for both Tests in New Zealand & T20 (Pre-Tour Add-On only)

  • All travel and transfers in air-conditioned first class coaches.

  • All sightseeing and touring with entrance fees included.

  • Welcome dinners and lunches as indicated.

  • Tranz Alpine Railway & Franz Josef helicopter flight (Post-Tour Add-On only)

  • Services of an experienced Premium cricket host.

  • Services of an experienced Premium tour manager.

  • Travel kit including a sports shirt, spray jacket and cap.

Tour Exclusions

  • International flights and taxes.

  • Items of a personal nature.

  • Meals and drinks unless specified in the itinerary.

  • Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended).

Match Tickets

  • Match tickets are reserved undercover seating at Wellington.

  • Match tickets are reserved grandstand seating at Christchurch for the first four days. Please note this is NOT embankment seating (i.e. sitting on the grass).

  • T20 match tickets are reserved seating in Auckland.

Tour Conditions

  • Tour conditions as per our Reservation Form.

  • Deposit of $ 2,000.00 per person, non-refundable due upon booking.

  • Final balance due on 30th November 2023.

  • We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance.

  • We recommend that you check with your doctor as immunizations & medications may be applicable in your particular case.

  • Tour departure is subject to minimum numbers.
