2014 SOUTH AFRICA TOUR ITINERARY

Tuesday 18th February, 2014
Board your domestic Qantas and international South African Airlines flights to Port Elizabeth via Johannesburg. On arrival, transfer to the stunning 5 star Sun Boardwalk Resort.

Wednesday 19th February, 2014       
This morning we undertake a half day tour of the city, coastlines and includes a visit to the Seaview Predator Park. This afternoon is at leisure to explore the city and this evening our welcome function and dinner.

Thursday 20th February, 2014           
First day of the second Test at St George’s Park, where we have a corporate hospitality package in the exclusive Bojangles Corporate Club for the duration of the Test with daily return transfer.

Friday 21st February, 2014    
Second day of the second Test at St George’s Park.

Saturday 22nd February, 2014          
Third day of the second Test at St George’s Park.

Sunday 23rd February, 2014  
Fourth day of the second Test at St George’s Park.

Monday 24th February, 2014
Fifth day of the second Test at St George’s Park.

Tuesday 25th February, 2014
Departing Port Elizabeth we set out along the world renown Garden Route for our two night stay at Beacon Island Resort in Plettenburg Bay. En route we visit Monkeyland – a free roaming primate sanctuary.

Wednesday 26th February, 2014       
This morning we visit the Knysna Elephant Park for a unique experience with these gentle giants, and maybe have time for a quick visit and tasting at Mitchell’s Brewery.

Thursday 27th February, 2014           
Today we continue along the Garden Route directly to our stunning Cape Town accommodation, the Vineyard Hotel – a favourite of ours for many tours.

Friday 28th February, 2014       
This morning we take a trip up Table Mountain (subject to weather) then a tour around Cape Town. For an extended lunch the beautiful Rhebokskloof Wine Estate (or similar) in the Paarl Valley, then back to town for a sunset cruise around Cape Town Bay and the Western Cape.

Saturday 1st March, 2014    
First day of the third Test at Newlands, where we have a fully inclusive corporate hospitality package in the exclusive Century Club for the duration of the Test. The ground is within easy walking distance from the hotel.

Sunday 2nd March, 2014           
Second day of the third Test at Newlands.

Monday 3rd March, 2014         
Third day of the third Test at Newlands.

Tuesday 4th March, 2014         
Fourth day of the third Test at Newlands.

Wednesday 5th March, 2014    
Fifth day of the third Test at Newlands. Tonight we conclude our tour with a farewell dinner at the exclusive Kelvin Grove Club in Newlands.

Thursday 6th March, 2014        
Today an afternoon flight to Jo’burg to connect to your flight home to Australia, or for those doing the extension, your flight to Victoria Falls.

 

Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) Extension Itinerary

Please note that numbers on this extension are limited due to exclusiveness of both the Victoria Falls Hotel and The Hide Safari Camp, and will be strictly on a first come, first serve basis.

Thursday 6th March, 2014    
A morning departure for our flight to Victoria Falls via Jo’burg, where we transfer to the most iconic of hotels from the colonial era, the 5 star Victoria Falls Hotel.

Friday 7th March, 2014         
Today a guided tour of the Falls, then at your leisure to explore the town or just relax on the hotel verandah.

Saturday 8th March, 2014     
Plenty of options to explore the Zambezi River, including helicopter or micro-light flights, elephant rides, (bungy jumping – if you’re brave), the options are plentiful. This afternoon a sunset cruise on the Upper Zambezi River.

Sunday 9th March, 2014        
This morning we transfer to Hwange National Park and our accommodation The Hide Safari Camp, a luxury tented camp on a full board basis. A variety of game options are available daily.

Monday 10th March, 2014    
Take in one or more of the morning or afternoon guided walks or games drives or watch the wildlife from the comfort of your camp.

Tuesday 11th March, 2014    
Another day to experience the natural beauty of the African bush with your choice of activities.

Wednesday 12th March, 2014          
A late morning transfer back to Victoria Falls and our connecting flights home.
