2018 South Africa Cricket Tour packages are now on sale!

 

Test cricket has many long standing rivalries but not many fiercer than the rivalry between Australia and South Africa and it is set for another instalment in 2018 when Australia tour South Africa for 4 test matches.

 

Australia's last tour of South Africa was a successful one, with Australia winning the test series 2-1 with victories in Centurion and Cape Town. Opening batsman David Warner claimed the man of the series with 543 runs for the series, more than 200 ahead of the next best.

 

As with all our tours we will get to experience the cricket in the best seating as well as the amazing sights our host country has to offer, such as Table Mountain, Victoria Falls, National Parks and Safaris.

Tour 1 - Durban (6 Nights Unescorted)

  • Wednesday 28th February, 2018
    Make your own way to our group hotel, the Hilton Durban where we’ll be spending the next 6 nights. Please note this tour is unescorted.
     

  • Thursday 1st March - Monday 5th March, 2018 - FIRST TEST
    Spend the next 5 days at Kingsmead Stadium in undercover seating, watching the 1st Test. Our hotel is located adjacent to the ground, so you'll be able to walk over at our own leisure.
     

  • Tuesday 6th March, 2018
    Depart the hotel and make your own way to the airport.

Tour 2 - Port Elizabeth (8 Nights)

  • Tuesday 6th March, 2018
    On arrival in Port Elizabeth, the group transfer will take you to our hotel, the Courtyard Hotel where we’ll be spending the next 8 nights.
     

  • Wednesday 7th March, 2018
    This morning we’ll undertake a city tour of Port Elizabeth, then this evening a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
     

  • Thursday 8th March, 2018
    Today we’ll embark on a full day tour of the Addo Elephant Park.
     

  • Friday 9th March - Tuesday 13th March, 2018 - SECOND TEST
    Spend the next 5 days at St George’s Cricket Ground with corporate hospitality watching the 2nd Test, with return transfers.
     

  • Wednesday 14th March, 2018
    Check out of the hotel today and the group transfer will take you back to the airport.

Tour 3 - Kapama Private Game Reserve (3 Nights)

    We’ll catch connecting flights to Hoedspruit and transfer to our lodge, Kapama Private Game Reserve. This 5 star private game reserve is on a full board basis (exclusive of drinks) and includes game drives. We’ll be here for the next 3 nights. See Kapama iBrochure.
     

  • Thursday 15th - Friday 16th March, 2018
    Today we have exclusive luxury and game drives in the private game reserve.
     

  • Saturday 17th March, 2018
    Transfer to the airport for our connecting flights.

Tour 4 - Cape Town (10 Nights)

  • Saturday 17th March, 2018
    On arrival in Cape Town, the group transfer will take you to our favourite hotel, The Vineyard where we’ll be spending the next 10 nights.
     

  • Sunday 18th March, 2018
    This morning we’ll undertake a city tour of Cape Town, including the famous Table Mountain, then this evening a welcome dinner at the exclusive Kelvin Club.
     

  • Monday 19th March, 2018
    An opportunity to explore Cape Town at your leisure – Robben Island, the Botanical Gardens, the V & A waterfront, there are plenty of options here.
     

  • Tuesday 20th March, 2018
    Today we’ll explore the surrounding countryside with lunch at a Stellenbosch winery.
     

  • Wednesday 21st March, 2018
    Another opportunity to explore Cape Town and the surrounds at your leisure – a tour to the Cape of Good Hope, a trek up Table Mountain, dining in Long Street, again plenty of options here.
     

  • Thursday 22nd March - Monday 26th March, 2018 - THIRD TEST
    Spend the next 5 days at the picturesque Newlands Cricket Ground with corporate hospitality in the Century Club watching the 3rd Test. The ground is within walking distance from our hotel.
     

  • Tuesday 27th March, 2018
    The group transfer will take you back to the airport.

    We’ll catch connecting flights to Victoria Falls and transfer to the world renowned Victoria Falls Hotel for the next 2 nights. This afternoon a guided tour of the Falls.
     

  • Wednesday 28th March, 2018
    The day to explore at your leisure, and this afternoon a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
     

  • Thursday 29th March, 2018
    Transfer to the airport for our connecting flights.

Tour 6 - Johannesburg (6 Nights Unescorted)

    Make your own way to our group hotel, the Protea Wanderers where we’ll be spending the next 6 nights. Please note this tour is unescorted.
     

  • Friday 30th March - Tuesday 3rd April, 2018 - FOURTH TEST
    Spend the next 5 days at Wanderers Cricket Stadium in undercover seating, watching the 4th Test. Our hotel is located adjacent to the ground, so you'll be able to walk over at our own leisure. Complimentary access to the Wanderers Club is included.
     

  • Wednesday 4th April, 2018
    Depart the hotel and make your own way to the airport.

Tour Exclusions

  • International flights. These will get you to your end destination
    (We can book these for you and will include some internal flights).

  • Zimbabwe tourist visa. Required for Victoria Falls
    (USD 30.00 available on arrival and currently, for a single entry for Australian passport holders).

  • Travel Insurance (strongly recommended).

  • No Visa required for Australia passport holders for South Africa.

Tour Conditions

  • Tour conditions as per our Reservation Form.

  • Deposit of $ 2,000.00 per person, non-refundable due upon booking.

  • Interim payment $ 2,000.00 per person, 30th June, 2017.

  • Final outstanding balance, 30th December, 2017. 

  • Zimbabwe tourist visa is compulsory.

  • A 20 kg weight limit applies to most domestic flights.

  • We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance.
