Tuesday 28 January, 2025
On arrival at Colombo Airport, make your way to Negombo Heritance, a short trip from the airport, for the first night of the tour.
Wednesday 29 January, 2025
This morning we'll transfer to Galle where we'll spend the next seven nights at Araliya Beach Resort (or similar). This afternoon we'll have a tour of Galle before our welcome dinner at local restaurant.
Thursday 30 January - Monday 3 February 2025 - First Test, Sri Lanka vs. Australia
Today (and the following 4 days) we’ll transfer to the Galle International Stadium, one of the world’s most picturesque cricket grounds ringed by the Galle Fort and the Indian Ocean for the 1st Test Match – Sri Lanka v Australia. Our air-conditioned box, lunch and drinks makes this an enjoyable day at the cricket.
Tuesday 4 February, 2025
After breakfast we'll transfer to Weerawila where we'll spend the next two nights at the DoubleTree by Hilton (or similar). The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Wednesday 5 February, 2025
With a packed breakfast we'll head off early for a morning safari at Yala National Park. Its usual inmates cover herds of elephant, sloth bear, spotted dear, jackal, extensively populated birdlife as well as the highest density of leopards in the world.
Thursday 6 February, 2025
This morning we'll transfer to Colombo where we'll have the next six nights at the Galle Face Hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Friday 7 - Tuesday 11 February, 2025 - Second Test, Sri Lanka vs. Australia
Today (and the following 4 days) we’ll transfer to the Sinhalese Sports Club, home of test cricket in Sri Lanka, for the 2nd Test Match – Sri Lanka v Australia. Our air-conditioned box, lunch and drinks makes this an enjoyable day at the cricket. On the final night we'll have our farewell dinner included at a local restaurant.
Wednesday 12 February, 2025
Make your way to the airport for your flight home or onward travel, ending the tour. For those continuing on The Maldives we'll have a transfer to the airport.

Friday 24 January, 2025
This morning transfer to Dambulla, en route visiting the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. This afternoon check in to our hotel Heritance Kandalama for the next two nights.
Saturday 25 January, 2025
Early this morning we'll have a hot air balloon ride over the cultural hub of Sri Lanka. Our pilot will toast us with a glass of champagne before returning to the hotel. This afternoon we have a tour to the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura, the ancient centre of Theravada Buddhism and site of rich historical, religious and cultural heritage.
Sunday 26 January, 2025
Depending on group size, this morning a 2nd hot air balloon ride for those who were not on yesterday's trip. On return to the hotel we'll check out and transfer to Kandy. En route we'll stop for a tour of the Dambulla Rock Temple. On arrival in Kandy we'll have a city tour of this World Heritage Site & last royal capital of Sri Lankan kings. Overnight at Earl’s Regency Hotel Kandy.
Monday 27 January, 2025
After breakfast we'll transfer to the railway station for our scenic trip to Nuwara Eliya. This train ride offers an unparalleled view of both scenic and culture of the hill country. On arrival, the coach will pick us up for a tour of Nuwara Eliya. We'll spend the next two nights at Heritance Tea Factory.
Tuesday 28 January, 2025
This morning we'll have a tour of a local tea plantation. Visit the misty hills and cap of the tour with a blend
of Ceylon Tea. The rest of the afternoon is free at your leisure.
Wednesday 29 January, 2025
This morning we'll depart for Galle where we'll begin the main component of the 2025 Sri Lanka Cricket Tour.

Transfer to Colombo Airport for our flight to Male. On arrival a speedboat transfer to our beautiful Bandos Resort.

A day in paradise to do as little or as much as you like, diving, fishing, spa treatments etc. All inclusive - Full board and drinks.

Second day in paradise to do as little or as much as you like, diving, fishing, spa treatments etc. All inclusive - Full board and drinks.

Same again, but this evening we transfer back to the airport for your flights back to Australia or onward travel.
