The first of the Grand Slam tournaments for the year always sees thousands of people make their way to Melbourne Park for The Australian Open. In 2026 we saw World no. 1 Carlos Alcaraz claim his first Australian Open title, becoming the youngest man in history to complete a Career Grand Slam. In the Women's section Elena Rybakina won her first Women's Singles Championship, defeating two-time champion & World no. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the final.
